The classic and authentic luxurious Riad, 6 minutes from the place Djemaâ El Fna, is situated in the heart of the Medina in the same Derb as the well-known museum Boucharouite. The predominant color is Aventurin-green, from which also the name of the riad originates. Furthermore, Aventurin is the name of the green quartz crystal stone “Aventurin” (a ventura = at a venture). The Riad constructed in the moorisch-andalusian style with fassi and syrian influences has a history of several centuries and served initially as a watering place (El Charij: fountaine or watering place) for humans and animals. Later on, it served as law court and was at the same time the house where the judge, who also gave the name to the derb (El Cadi = the judge), was living. The Riad has been completely restored / renovated in the years 2018/19. When compared to older photography’s one may confirm the similarities with older times. Beside of 3 suites and 3 luxury guest-rooms there exist 2 big saloons, all in the moroccan style. In the big patio mandarine and citron trees as well as palms are found beside a large pool. From every room/suite one may go upstairs to the immense high situated terrace with a marvellous view over the whole Red City Marrakech and a direct view of the Atlas Mountains in the background. The highest place of the Riad is “the solarium” where one may take a sunbath on comfortable long chairs and cool down afterwards in the pool. At two pergolas our guest may always find a shadowy place to stay. The moroccan and continental breakfast is commonly served on the terrace.

Suites / Rooms
The Riad contains 2 Suites, 1 Junior-Suite and 3 luxury Rooms with all in all 19 beds. Every suite/room has its own bathroom as well as a reversible air-conditioning system. Furthermore, the suite Tafraoute has its own private patio.

Reservations made through the website can be canceled without any cost up to 10 days in advance by email. Afterwrads the full amount has to be paid. Payments are to be made on site at the end of the stay!

Riad means “garden”. In the patio and on the terrace there are a lot of flowers and plants which makes one feel as staying in a garden.

The Riad is offering to do one’s laundry for an additional fee.

The pool is for all guests. Bath towels may be asked for at housekeeping staff without additional fees.
